1. Age Requirements
Meety accepts registrants who are 13 or older. The service is not available to anyone under 13, and we do not knowingly process personal data belonging to younger children.
Teen users (13–17)
- Guardian consent may be required in jurisdictions that mandate it
- Stronger privacy defaults and tighter feature access apply automatically
Adult-only areas (18+)
- Paid tiers, premium tools, and mature experiences require users to be at least 18
Confirming age
- Birth date is collected when an account is created
- Further checks may run before unlocking restricted capabilities
- Accounts with misleading age data may be reviewed and actioned
2. Platform Safeguards for Younger Users
Automated screening
- Messages and media are scanned for harmful and CSAE-linked material
- Language models and pattern rules flag abuse, violence, and sexual content
- Mature posts are labeled and hidden behind age restrictions
Feature limits on minor profiles
- Private messaging is off by default where a user is treated as a minor
- Certain social tools are narrowed to reduce exposure to unknown adults
- Incoming connection requests may need guardian approval
- Data collection for under-18 accounts is kept to what the service needs
Human review
- Specialist reviewers examine escalated reports at all hours
- Any case involving minors or suspected CSAE jumps to the front of the queue
- Serious or repeated breaches can lead to permanent removal
In-app reporting
Meety ships with a built-in Report tool so members can flag issues — including child safety concerns — without exiting the application.
3. Standards Against Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation (CSAE)
Meety, distributed on Google Play by Lardin Poellabauer, enforces a strict ban on Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation (CSAE). CSAE covers any conduct or material that sexually harms, exploits, or endangers a child — such as grooming, sextortion, trafficking a minor for sex, or other sexual exploitation.
Zero tolerance — the following are banned on Meety:
- CSAM — any photo, video, audio, text, or AI-generated image depicting a minor in sexual activity
- Grooming — cultivating trust with a minor to enable abuse or exploitation
- Sextortion — using threats or pressure to obtain sexual acts or content from a minor
- Sexualizing minors — presenting anyone under 18 in a sexual or exploitative manner
- Solicitation — seeking, offering, or arranging sexual contact with a person under 18
- Trafficking & commercial abuse — profiting from or moving minors for sexual purposes
- Circulation — uploading, forwarding, storing, or sharing CSAE via Meety chat, calls, or profiles
Response protocol: Detection systems and moderators remove CSAE content promptly. Once CSAM is confirmed, it is deleted immediately and, where legally required, reported to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and competent authorities. We cooperate with law enforcement on child-safety investigations.
4. How to Report a Child Safety Issue
If you witness behaviour that could endanger a child, or suspect CSAE on Meety, please report right away:
- Open Report in the app on the relevant content and pick Child Safety Concern
- Email lardinpoellabauerib460@gmail.com — subject line Child Safety Report or CSAE Report
- Provide account names, timestamps, a brief summary, and screenshots only if safe to do so
The Meety Safety Desk prioritises CSAE and child-protection reports. Urgent cases are handled as quickly as possible and may be forwarded to regulators or police when appropriate.
5. Guidance for Parents & Guardians
We encourage families to take an active role:
- Discuss responsible online communication with children
- Review how your child uses Meety and other apps
- Warn against sharing personal details with strangers
- Reach the Meety Safety Desk immediately if anything concerns you

6. Our Child-Safety Commitment
Protecting younger members is central to how Meety operates. Lardin Poellabauer maintains automated filters, trained reviewers, and transparent community rules so that children and teens can connect more safely.
These standards follow COPPA, GDPR provisions for minors, and comparable child-protection laws. They apply to every account regardless of the member's age.
7. Changes to These Standards
We revisit this document as risks and technology evolve. Significant updates are announced inside Meety and reflected in the date shown at the top of this page.
